The Phases below illustrate descriptions of the Interior Designer’s Scope of Work. This is inclusive of the Designer’s time to complete all phases of the Project through construction installation and final placement of furniture.


  • Gather all relevant information about the Client's requirements, preferences, & budget constraints to define the scope of the project.
  • Detailed discussion with the Client to understand their vision for the space, including their desired aesthetics, functionality, & any specific themes or design inspirations they have in mind.

Site Survey

  • Conduct a detailed examination of the entire interior space, including corners, alcoves, & hidden areas.
  • Take photos of each space being renovated to serve as visual references during later stages.
  • Measure all aspects of the space to create an accurate foundation for the design plan.

Conceptual Development

  • Research & development a design concept.
  • Collect finish samples & inspiration images for presentation for Client’s approval.
  • Create mood boards to convey different design styles, color palettes, textures, & overall aesthetics.


  • Set of digital floor plans & a 3D model of your space.
  • Proposal of contractor bids & a rough estimate.

Design Development

  • Finish & Furniture Plans, Interior Elevations.
  • Design Boards for Finishes, Fixtures & Furniture Selections.
  • Specification Schedules for Finishes, Fixtures & Furnishings
  • Shop Drawings for Detailed Custom Designs

Technical Documentation

  • A construction drawing set (the plans)
  • Specifications

Construction & Inspection

  • Contractors are ready
  • Materials are ordered
  • All permits & legal requirements have been handled.
  • Project management
